Kwan Prasarnpan

From Bangkok Bustle to Dutch

In a captivating episode, we delve into Thailand’s vibrant culture through guest Kwan, a recent moved from Bangkok to the Netherlands. Kwan, working in polyester and epoxy production, shares her journey of love and adaptation. She met her Dutch partner at Thailand’s iconic Full Moon Party, leading to her mid-August move last year. Before relocating, she was a fresh graduate turned IT project coordinator and children’s tutor, highlighting Thailand’s emphasis on education.

Born and raised in Bangkok—a bustling metropolis of about 10 million —Kwan embraces her “city girl” identity. She paints a picture of 24/7 accessibility: massive malls offering everything from bowling to dining. Yet, she notes overcrowding and traffic chaos, with motorbikes zipping dangerously.  Tourism hotspots: Khao San Road for parties and Pad Thai. If you feel adventurous eat: fried insects, chicken feet, live squid in spicy sauce.

This episode captures Thailand’s dynamic blend of tradition and modernity, through Kwan’s warm, insightful lens—proving love and curiosity bridge worlds beautifully.
