Myrthe Duursma is a Dutch educator and world traveler whose global experiences have shaped her career. Her passion for cross-cultural education was ignited during her time teaching English in Vietnam and India. In our interview, she has openly discussed the challenges and significant rewards of teaching in these foreign cultures, offering valuable insights into adapting to new environments. She currently holds dual roles: English teacher and coach at OGMF in Heerenveen, where she focuses on student guidance. She is also a key team member in the Hospitality, Bakery & Recreation department, where she contributes to managing the school’s restaurant.
